This four-star, Jack Nicklaus designed Tokyo golf course is currently open to non-Japanese golfers visiting the Tokyo area. The course is a par-72, 7,020 yard monster, with tons of elevation change, mature trees and sand. Kazusa Monarch Country Club features full caddy service, as well as complimentary beverages. The course is just a 15 kilometer train ride from Tokyo. Green fees are in the Y15,000 to Y23,000 range.

Yomiyuri Country Club
This 6,962 yard, par-72 course was designed by Seichi Inoue, and opened in 1964. This Tonkyo golf course features mountainous terrain, several blind tee shots, and well-placed bunkers. Yomiyuri Country Club is open to the public, and once played host to the World Cup of Golf.

Wakasu Golf Links
This flat, metropolitan Tokyo course is a links style with a twist: lots of water hazards. The course is covered with bunkers, and difficult enough to be a frequent host of professional and amateur tournaments.

Koganei Country Club
This is the most exclusive golf course in the world. Membership at Koganei, if youíre Japanese and of the highest social standing, of course, is in the $2-$3 million U.S. range. The 18-hole course is a par-72, 6,755 yard track, obviously in perfect condition.
